So members in my club & I want to do something positive for the less fortunate this Holiday by giving Christmas gifts. Since my club is the Multi-cultural Student Union, we voted that we would like to send our gifts to differing countries (anywhere outside of the U.S). The problem is finding a good organization that is dependable and legit that was help direct our gifts to where we want them to go. Any ideas?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for quite some time now. On December 1st it will be about 7 months. I need some good ideas for christmas gifts to get him. Any ideas?

well…..i did something terrible at school and got cought so they told me they were gonna send me to the panel and they decide weither i can stay at my school or go to the gift center.
anyone who’s ever been there or had a friend there or something, do u know wut its like??

In the school district where I live, it’s called Alternative Learning Center.

The students sit at desks or in cubicles and do the school work their teachers send for them to do. If they need help, there are teachers there to explain the work to them. That is the only talking allowed in the building. There is no socializing or chit-chat between the students. If they talk repeatedly at a desk, they have to sit in a cubicle. Even lunch is eaten in silence.

I have two children my oldest is six and for the past six years I have gone a little overboard with the gifts from Santa, around twenty or thirty gifts per child ranging in cost. I am not wealthy and my children are not spoiled, I simply enjoy the idea of giving, to everyone. This year I am trying to be a little more conservative due to less funds, any tips would be great. One large gift ( usually the one they want the most ),two smaller gifts, a new clothes outfit and a few dollar store stocking stuffers.

I just sold I guitar I own for $550 dollars I want to lay money down on a jackson rr24 and my parents agreed that they will pay the rest for my christmas gift does guitar center allow you to put money down on a guitar?

Guitar center does have lay-away plans, they will simply hold on to the guitar until you pay off the rest. I once did this with a drum-set a few years back. If you want to verify I’m sure they will tell you if you call your local store.

I’m taking my family to a Lakers game in January as a gift, and I was hoping I could bring a camera. Is this allowed? I know flash photography isn’t allowed, but does that mean I can’t even bring a camera in if I don’t use the flash setting? Also, if I happen to bring a camera with me, then will they make me walk out to the car and put it away? Thanks!

yes you can take a camera with you to a game many people do.. watch a game and notice all the flashes

Do you just try to find the right gift and pay whatever it costs?

Do you create a limited gift budget and limit the gifts according to the gift budget?

For a really important gift - example: a very good friend getting married on 2 Jan. - is it okay to overdo it?

Gift is given by Heart, and also by the person who given it… Money is not counted on that matter.. U fix the budget according to your convenience and get the best gift within that .. am sure he/she will love it !!

Looking for a holiday gift teacher but didn’t want to get the typical teacher gifts. Any ideas?

This mite be alittle much but if you guys got pictures of the class or something u can make a little like wallet photo book for her that would be pretty cool. I made a photo book on http://www.smilebooks.com for my mother already for christmas as one of her gifts at it was not that expensive and i designed it however i wanted to.

My friend and I are interested in, maybe, opening up a clothing store for children in TN. Where do you purchase clothes, gifts and accessories for this? I know we would have to get licenses and wholesale numbers to do all of this but can someone give us any advice on "how to" get all of this started. I know it is easy to purchaseclothes in NY and LA but where do you do so in Tennessee? Any advice on opening a small business would be great!!! not just clothes.

will give you a biz plan template
or go to the US small biz admin’s web site and download one.

b; do research for your biz; just having a store does not mean
you will sell enough to earn a profit. FIND OUT
who would come to your store and see if enough people will do
so and assure you a profit.
